Description

This is a customized guitar that Orbison played extensively in the 60s. There is a lot of debate on what the guitar started as, but in a reverb article, Orbison's son Alex Orbison mentioned it was his Gretsch White Falcon (possibly a 58 model because of the switches), painted black, and had a Gibson neck attached to it (believed to be that of a Gibson Super 400). Roy Orbison stated in an interview that the guitar mysteriously disappeared when he gave it to a guitar manufacturer in order to make copies. It hasn’t been seen since.
