Description

Unleash your inner rock legend with the Silvertone 1446, a semi-hollowbody electric guitar that seamlessly blends vintage charm with modern playability. Originally introduced in the 1960s, this iconic instrument is back, capturing the essence of its predecessor while incorporating contemporary enhancements. Crafted with a single cutaway hollow body design, the guitar features a stunning maple construction on the sides, back, and top, offering both visual appeal and resonant tone.

The Silvertone 1446 is equipped with Gibson-designed mini humbuckers that deliver a versatile range of tones, from warm, mellow lows to crisp, articulate highs. Whether you're strumming jazzy chords or shredding rock riffs, these pickups ensure your sound is always rich and expressive. The guitar's mahogany neck with a comfortable "C" profile and a bound rosewood fretboard provides smooth playability and effortless access across the entire scale.

Adding to its vintage allure, the guitar is outfitted with a Bigsby B3 vibrato tailpiece, allowing for smooth pitch modulation and classic tremolo effects. With individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and a three-way pickup switch, you have complete control over your sound palette. The block fretboard inlays and cream body binding further enhance the guitar's classic aesthetic, making it as much a visual masterpiece as it is an auditory one.

Plays and sounds fantastic!

The 1446 is loaded stock with fantastic proprietary Gibson made mini-humbuckers and a solid B3 Bigsby! Made by Harmony, thin neck and low action. The guitar has three unique tones depending on the three way toggle switch position. Very versatile for Surf, Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Blues or whatever.
