Critic Reviews

Source Audio Mercury Flanger review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Source Audio Mercury Flanger offers a solid array of flanging effects with its Classic, Thru-Zero, and Shadow settings. It's lauded for its interesting sounds and ability to recreate vintage tones reminiscent of the Electric Mistress. However, its interchangeable nature with Source's other pedals, such as the Gemini and Lunar, makes it less of an essential purchase for those seeking uniquely indispensable gear. Overall, it stands as a commendable choice for those looking to expand their sound palette with versatile flanging effects.

Luvin' it, and it came with it's own power supply, not that I need another one, but still a nyce touch. I'm thinking of switching out my Phase shifters for the SA Lunar, and the Furman powerstrip model power conditioner with that one in the coming weeks. ... then on to the dirt, fuzz and a new Wah going into the front of the amp. the modulation Fx will stay in the loop post preamp. Guess I'm gonna need a buffer.
