Description

From Stomp Under Foot: Fuzz and Octave can be used individually or together True-Bypass 9V Battery or 2.1 9V Adapter Only 8mA NOS Parts Handmade in the U.S.A. Original ATW artwork by Robby Staebler The creation of the Bucket of Blood all started with Ben McLeod, guitarist for All Them Witches, using my Green Russian pedal which led to the creation of the Alabaster.

The Alabaster, a slightly modified Green Russian circuit with added boost, led to the The La Scatola Nera.

The La Scatola Nera was a new design, that got away from the Russian circuit, with an added octave, at Ben's request.

After meeting Ben and talking about how much he loves the tone and gain of the La Scatola Nera, we discussed some changes that would make it even more usable with Ben's style and sound.

The Bucket of Blood takes the circuit of the La Scatola Nera and adds a mids control and has a fixed output for the octave.

Adding the mids control gives the pedal some added punch to the low end, especially in lower tunings, with a lot of clarity and leads are smooth and cut right through the mix.

The fuzz is rich with a fuzzy/distortion tone and an almost amp-like sag.

The octave side is an octave-up. When using the neck pickup the octave really comes alive giving upper lead notes an almost 3-D effect. On the bridge pickup the lower notes double up for a great effect and give an almost ring-modulated sound.

This is a Stomp Under Foot exclusive that will be made for a limited time.

Stomp Under Foot pedals are made by hand using only quality, through-hole components.
