Thunderous Power
I've had at least 50% of gigs where I used the mono bloc-b where the sound guy would either turn me down or constantly cry and try to get my attention to turn it down. Does not need to be plugged into a PA for most smaller venues. Runs all night, i had it into a 2Ω load (2x 4Ω 500W speakers in parallel) outdoors and that was the only time i noticed it getting hot but that was open air and i had it kranked. Otherwise it's >50 years old and still going.

Bruce Thomas has confirmed his use of the Traynor Mono Block B amplifier in an interview with Guitar World, stating, "I had a Traynor Mono Block too, but the amp I used most was the Ampeg SVT. I had Johnny Winter's old guitar amp as well: they sounded great with a bass." This statement was reported by Nick Wells in the article titled “Some bass parts are functional and some are creative: you don’t need to play Rachmaninoff when the band wants Al Green”: The man behind Elvis Costello’s finest albums recalls his life as a main Attraction, published by Guitar World.
