A lot of bang for the buck
I play it with two 410HE classic and it is amazing. I wanted a solution which is rack mountable a but give me sufficient power and gain. Of course a tube amp would give me more natural distortion. So I would have to add an Overdrive FX or so to the rig. But even without it sounds so powerful and punchy, As I play it wit an active G&L 2000. So for the price of the gear the outcome is tremendous. No regrets for the decision, always compared to the price. Of cours I could imagine different solution for a higher invest, but my budget give I am totally happy.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Quiet a straight sound. slightly raised mids for rock sound. No further filters, high or low pass. I lea e the sound tuning to the g-major and the ampeg scrambler attached to the rack. The main task of the amp in my set-up is to produce the pressure.

Gets the job done!
I have owned this head for 5+years and have used it on most gigs where amplification (rather than DI only) is required. In combination with the Neo cab series (1x15 & 2x10 cabs), you get a superb range of tone for shaping a more than suitable tone for performing live. The in/out options are really good and the onboard is great for tidying up the overall sound.
