Description

The Vintage Effie U1935 Hollow Body by Univox

The Univox Effie U1935 is a vintage Japanese-made hollow-body electric guitar from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Designed as a budget-friendly alternative to the famous Epiphone Casino, it features a fully hollow thinline body without a center block, producing a warm, resonant tone with excellent acoustic character. The guitar is known for its lightweight construction, comfortable bolt-on maple neck, and distinctive harp-style tailpiece. Equipped with two 12-pole humbucking pickups, the Effie delivers a versatile sound suitable for blues, classic rock, jazz, and vintage pop styles. Today, it is sought after by collectors and players who appreciate classic Japanese "lawsuit-era" instruments and vintage aesthetics.
