Poor man’s Acoustic Gibson J-160E

Acoustically to my ears the Washburn WCD18CE sounds close to the a recorded Gibson J-160E made famous by John Lennon in The Beatles. Which means sounds horrible acoustically but records beautifully. Makes sense since they both are Laminated Spruce Top, Laminated Mahogany back and sides and Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. Difference is that the Washburn has the modern X Brace design rather than Latter brace. But the x brace give this guitar deeper lows and highs which is why I say it sounds closer to the ‘recording’ of the J-160E.
