Description
The Welagen Steel String Singer provides the guitar player with glowing clean tones of exciting dimensions, reminiscent of the tones of Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Lindley, and John Mayer. The Welagen Steel String Singer is aimed at those looking for an amplifier that excels at huge singing reverberated clean tones. PRE AMPLIFIER
The preamp of the SSS features Normal and FET inputs, FET Volume, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass and a Bright switch for bell-like highs, a Deep switch (or Mid switch) and a Rock/Jazz switch to select between two EQ’s. The cascading FET and NOR volumes allow for tweaking the sound from sparkly clean to crunchy compression, all with that characteristic SSS glow, punch and sustain. The SSS features the high and low step filters. These two 7-step filters allow fine-tuning the voice and response of the amplifier into 49 different settings. Lush 3-dimensional tube Reverb with maximum tonal control: The Send and Return Levels can be used to shape the response, length and depth of the reverb.
POWER SECTION
A high power, non break up power section allows for retaining the SSS preamp tonal qualities at all volumes.
Reverb switching is accessible via a footswitch. Passive effects loop allows for use of outboard effects. Compatibility with speaker cabinets is maximized via the Impedance select switch.
