During the pre-production of Meteora in Mike's home studio, he is running Pro Tools on what appears to be an Apple Mac G3 at 2:48 with the band playing back after Chester's vocals for Resolution. (AKA The Wizard Song)

"When I first started to use a computer to make music, I was using a Mac G3."

Trevor Rabin has confirmed his use of the Apple Mac G3, stating, "I'm still using a G3 and I've got 25 gigabytes and it is easily enough to hold a movie," in an interview featured in Notes From the Edge - Home Recording Visits: Trevor Rabin [From NFTE #243].

An Apple Mac G3 was used on the album Small Moon, according to the liner notes.

Studio gear list includes "Power Macintosh G3 & G4, MOTU 2408 & midi timepiece & DP3, AKAI S3200XL & S6000, YAMAHA02R, other MIDI instruments."

David's a Mac user, running Emagic's Logic Platinum sequencer on a G3 266 computer. He graduated to Mac Logic in the same way as many musicians — via Notator on the Atari — and still has a lingering fondness for a program that progress tells us is outdated. "I adored Notator. Now I'm reasonably quick with Logic, but I don't think its front window is as good. They felt they had to follow the Cubase line, and I think that was a mistake."
