Never buy another amp again
CHECK OUT GOLD LION STUDIOS FOR SOME SOLID KEMPER PROFILES!! MAX IS A STAND UP DUDE AND OFFERS THE ABSOLUTE BEST*
This thing is incredible, and surprisingly easy to use. I use it for home studio recordings. I run a SPDIF cable and two mic cables into my interface. SPDIF Right gives me a mono recording of the signal with the amp effect, SPDIF left gives a mono DI track. The 2 mic cables are for a stereo track where I can record the Kemper's effects (e.g. reverb and delay). I like recording the effects separately so that I can mix it in with the mono track to my liking. It is also very easy to reamp in case you aren't happy with the tone after recording.
I never need to buy another amp again. If you want to use it live, you'll need to get a power amp and a cab to get the most out of it. I was on the fence because I was pretty happy with my amp sims (UAD, kazrog, amplitube, and TH3). This thing blows all amp sims out of the water. There has only been one amp that I haven't found a profile of (Fender Super 6). Otherwise, there are plenty of profiles for everything else I've searched for. You won't be disappointed.

I went to the dark side.
I am lucky enough to do many different types of gigs from clubs to theatres to stadiums. This is the perfect rig for most any situation. The sound is great every time as variables introduced bye traditional rigs are nullified. Regular updates provide great ever expanding effects library’s. In all it is a fabulous solution for an easy to tour rig.

Impressive
As a home guitarist, Kemper is just like you can do it all, every cover you want, you can do it. I do not need other amps.

The future of Amps/effects processing
Since I bought this piece of gear, my life got easier. I don't worry about carrying thousand pedals and heavy Amps anymore. Once you find the right profiles, you are going to be rocking forever.

He states he uses the floor rig because it’s more efficient. Frank states he has one for the UK/Europe, and one for the states. Frank has a usb that he takes with him to transfer his tones between the two units. Frank choses the kemper for live shows because he feels it is more reliable and consistent than having a regular amp/pedal rig
