Monster!

If you're not a gear snob and want the tones of a 6506 / 5150, get one of these! They're absolute beasts and they do the job for about a quarter of the price! No clean boost required with this much gain. Amazing!

Bugera 6262

These do a great job of cloning that great Peavey 6505+ metal sound that is raw and powerful. I add a Tube Screamer TS-808 or Boss SD-1W and find it sounds as good as a 6505+. When recording songs I like to use a 6505+ on the left and a 6262 on the right. This creates a wider stereo image than just using one of the amps.

Same quality as the infinium 333 but with a plusno bias setting needed

This head is completely well made, you can mix tubes 6L6 KT88 6V6 12AX7 ECC83 EL34 no matter, it's always matching, no surprise, no Bias setting needed after changing tubes..... cool ! 120 w very loud, PreAmp 6 x 12AX7, Amp 4 x 6L6 , 3 band EQ, 3 channels, commutable Impedance in 4/8/16 Ohm, pedal board to change between the 3 chanel Clean/Crunch/Lead and an FX loop with send / return. This amp is a good deal for the price and sounds great as well as Mesa Boogie , Marshall, Engl and so on ........... the sound is here !!!!

jimmarchi1

a 12ax7 is an ecc83 and all amps can interchange ecc and 12__7 type noval base dual triodes... its a classic trick to change around types and brands in amps going back to, well, always. I would be cautious screwing around with power tubes regardless of Bugera's literature. A pair of 6V6es for instance runs at half impedance of a pair of 6L6es, KTs, 6550s or 34s.You risk your output transformer not lowering the output impedance when rebiasing for 6V6es. Even if the amp does the bias adjust for you its just not putting the right load on the OT. Not a lot of amps have good enough iron to put up with that. Some old fenders, maybe a Hiwatt.... otherwise? You're putting stress on the windings. But good for Bugera if you do, you'll need to order a part or buy a new amp!

A BEAST!!!!

OK SO THIS AMP IS CHEAP DOESNT MEAN ITS SHIT. IT IS ONE OF THE LOUDEST AMPS IVE PLAYED THOUGH!! TRY ONE AND YOU WILL LOVE IT. FORGET THE PROCE TAG. IF THE LACK OF SPENDING MONEY IS YOUR PROBLEM THEN BUY 2.
