Critic Reviews

C-Lab Unitor 2 (MT Mar 92)

muzines.co.uk

The C-Lab Unitor 2 shines as an integrated SMPTE synchroniser and MIDI interface designed for Atari ST users, offering an impressive level of software-hardware synergy that simplifies synchronization tasks. Its additional MIDI ports expand capabilities significantly, making it a worthy investment for those already deep into the C-Lab ecosystem. However, the lack of a patchbay and some complexity in setup could deter beginners. While it excels in functionality, potential users should weigh whether these drawbacks align with their needs. Ultimately, it's a robust choice for dedicated users, but not without its quirks.
