The CAPI VP28 two-stage mic/line preamp is a tonal powerhouse, praised for its versatility and remarkable sound quality. Its stepped controls offer precision and ease of recall, making it a solid and reliable addition to any setup. With features like transformer saturation and a wide tonal range, it excels in both mic and line applications. Amazing Preamp that would normally cost twice as much! I Have 3 VP26's that get the real Vintage API sound that I use on everything.

Great on Drums where fast transients are essential and not harsh sounding on Overheads. Great on everything!
