Fantastic Sounding Acoustic/Electric for the price
I have the all mahogany model and it sounds Amazing, just as good sounding as any Martin or Taylor I've played. Electronics work well. I do have a few gripes but a lot of them can be fixed with a little elbow grease. The fret ends were rough and the fretboard was a little dry. Also for an acoustic electric I was a little miffed not to see a strap button on either the neck heel or upper part of the body, maybe mine was a factory error?, Any who, the aforementioned issues are probably form the guitar being imported from overseas. Temperatures and weather changing drastically kind of dictate a lot of those issues and honestly, a dermal and a polishing wheel and a little lemon oil can easily take care of most of the issues. All that all said, the guitar's sound and feel when playing this guitar makes it punch above it's weight class. The guitar is also insanely light and easy to pickup. If you need a high quality gigging acoustic and are on a budget, look no Further than Cort. Their construction quality and reputation speaks for itself!

Great guitar
I'm an intermediate street- and stageperformer.
I bought this guitar so I could start stageperforming on stages with amplifiers.
The Cort MR500E has a handy built-in tuner, volume knob for manual control, and a small eq panel (I myself don't know enough about this at the moment to actually use it).

Similar construction and in the same price range. I don't think the top is the same. The Jasmine guitar uses a Spruce top and different Bracing system.
