Description
The Crook Black and White Paisley Telecaster is a captivating blend of tradition and innovation, designed for the discerning guitarist who seeks both aesthetic appeal and sonic versatility. At the core of this instrument lies a pair of custom P-90 pickups, delivering a hot, growling tone that perfectly complements its semi-hollowbody ash construction. The 2-piece ash body is hand-selected, ensuring a rich midrange with tight bass, while the 1-piece, 2A flame maple neck offers remarkable stability and comfort.
Crafted with a vintage flair, this Telecaster features a 10/56 "V" neck profile, ideal for thumb-over playing styles, and a compound-radius fingerboard that transitions from 7.25 to 9.5 inches. This ergonomic design is adorned with 21 narrow-tall frets, providing a smooth, expressive playing experience. The vintage-style tuners, bone nut, and "sawed-off" Tele bridge with RSD saddles ensure precise intonation and tuning stability, making this guitar as reliable as it is visually striking.
The combination of classic Fat '50s wiring and a 3-way selector switch allows musicians to explore a wide range of tones, from bold and even to rich and nuanced. An F-hole and Caballo Tono pickguard complete the package, adding a touch of elegance to this already stunning instrument.

Bill Crook also custom made a Black and White Paisely Telecaster for country music star Brad Paisley. “We had a black one, it was one of the first ones that Bill Crook had made for him and it was ruined so when I called Bill and said, “By the way, you know, I need, like, eight guitars, you know, yesterday,” he said, “I actually just finished one for a customer, called him up and said, ‘Hey, your guitar’s ready, but Brad Paisley lost all of his in the flood,’ and the guy said, ‘Let Brad have mine, build me another one.’” So bless you, sir, I do not know your name, I was never told, but thank you.” (2:25).
