Sturdy picks but can snag.

Im not the best guitar player ever but I love these picks. Once you get used to how ridged they are they are great for playing. Sometimes they do snag and slip but thats probably a skill issue.

Nice look, great feel

There's only so much you can say about a guitar pick, but I'm really happy with these ones. I like a stiffer pick, and these have just the right amount of flex. The pick has a subtle texture which feels nice to grip and doesn't slip. I also like the color, and I'm a fan of turtles, so that's a bonus as well. A pick is a really subjective thing to review, but any of the Tortex picks are worth trying out. I stopped using my Fender picks and use these all the time now.

Thick pick for pick tricks

With that tell tale grip surface, the big purple Tortex is ready to snap some tone into bass strings. Even with a punchy clean bass tone these picks give a crisp click to the attack. It takes a lot to bruise one, and bending them is a chore. But when you've done both, you know the crowd has gotten the best gig out of you.

The thickest pick you'll ever need. Never slips or drops.

I like to play with thick picks, most of the time. I find myself gravitating towards the blue, but sometimes I'm just in the mood to go purple. If you need to play heavy, or loud, or with high energy, consider going purple. Tortex picks are great right out of the package with that powdery coating. This "new car smell" wears away pretty quickly, but they still feel great in your hands. I never drop my picks and it's not because I ain't klutzy.
