At Namm 2019 Emg launched a signature pickup for lars. Lars claims that they are his version of the dirty finger pickup he loved. for years lars was stricktly a passive pickup player. however he tried emgs in other esp guitars he checked out. He then decided to move to emg after talks with emg reps at shows. Through these talks he learned that emg made passive pickups. Lars realised that much like esp, the emg was a good fit for him
