Description

The Pre-war SJ-200 Rosewood Reissue Acoustic-electric Guitar by Epiphone

The Epiphone Pre-war SJ-200 Rosewood Reissue Acoustic-electric Guitar is a premium jumbo acoustic-electric guitar inspired by the rare pre-war Gibson SJ-200 models from the late 1930s. Built in collaboration with Gibson Custom, it combines vintage-inspired craftsmanship with modern playability and electronics for both stage and studio performance. Its thermally aged solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides deliver a rich, resonant tone with impressive projection and warmth. The Round D maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide a comfortable vintage feel, while the LR Baggs Element Bronze VTC pickup system ensures natural amplified sound. Finished with elegant vintage-style appointments, including gold Grover Imperial tuners and mother-of-pearl inlays, this guitar captures the classic “King of the Flat-Tops” aesthetic.
