Description
Designed by the illustrious Eddie Van Halen, the EVH 5150 Standard Stealth Black is a fusion of traditional and modern design elements, ensuring an iconic blast from the past with a modern twist. This electric guitar features a modified Strat-style basswood body with a deeper upper body curve, yielding enhanced resonance and sustain that's perfect for any genre.
Built for fluid playability, it features a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with a comfortable modified C-profile and a hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish. The 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard is equipped with 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays, ensuring easy chording down low and lightning-fast playability up high.
The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking bridge and neck pickups offer thick rhythms, punchy articulation, and balanced overdrive, along with the endless sustain and articulate cleans. The three-way toggle switch gives you control over your sound, and the kill switch offers stuttering rhythmic effects.
The EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose bridge enables Eddie's signature tremolo work and dive-bomb effects, and with the patented D-Tuna, you can switch between drop-D and standard tuning instantly.
