Description

Unleash your musical prowess with the 1994 Fender Stratocaster Special Limited Edition HSS, a guitar that seamlessly bridges vintage charm with modern versatility. Crafted with an alder body and a maple neck, this Stratocaster is tailored for the discerning guitarist seeking both style and substance. Its HSS pickup configuration—featuring two single-coils and a coil-splittable humbucker—offers an expansive tonal palette, making it perfect for genres ranging from blues to rock and even metal.

The guitar's 25.5” scale length and 21 frets provide a familiar yet comfortable playing experience, while the TBX tone control pot allows for precise tonal adjustments, letting your sound stand out in any mix. Vintage style tuning keys and a bridge ensure stability and sustain, while a synthetic bone nut enhances the overall tonal quality and intonation.

Despite its age, this Stratocaster has been meticulously maintained. Expect only light surface scratches and minor indentations that add character without compromising playability. Our expert in-house tech has optimized the setup, ensuring the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod and low, comfortable action. This craftsmanship guarantees that the guitar plays beautifully across the fretboard, free from dead spots or choking out, making it a reliable choice for both studio recordings and live performances.

Who cares that it is MX?

This is a great Stratocaster. It says MX, but in direct comparison to a 1972 Strat and a 1964 Jaguar, this ons holds its ground. After a good tune-up it played just as well as the vintage Fenders. Of course the sound is no where near the originals. The poplar veneer seems awkward to me, it didn’t need it at all imo. The coil split humbucker disappoints as humbucker, convinces as single coil. The bridge pickup is great. All in all, I think the guitar is good, but not awesome, hence one star down. When I have the opportunity, I’ll buy a better strat maybe. For now this will do just fine for home practicing.
