There are better options out there, I would keep looking.
I owned one for several years but I realized that there are many better options out there, especially when it comes to Fender Bass. The Fender Rumble and Bassman series have exponentially better sound and value in comparison, the BXR 200 have a watered-down and dull sound to them. They get the job done for live performances because they do have volume for days and a somewhat decent low-end, although virtually no warmth or smoothness. I would never use one of these in the studio because the tones are weak, bland and have no bump; the graphic equalizer is a straight up tone killer, very pointless. The delta compressor seriously dampens the tone and the enhancement section is nothing to write home about. The only thing that actually sounds decent about these is the chorus, it's a unique effect that sounds pretty cool but at the same time it's like, who the hell uses chorus with bass??
