Designed in collaboration with Slipknot's iconic guitarist, these pickups bring the intense, high-gain tones that have become synonymous with the band's legendary sound. Whether you're shredding through drop-tuned riffs or exploring melodic leads, these pickups offer an unparalleled sonic palette.
At the heart of this set is Fishman's revolutionary multi-voice technology, delivering three distinct voices per pickup. The bridge pickup features Mick's signature tight active humbucker tone, perfect for aggressive rhythms and palm-muted power chords. Switch to the passive voice for a hot, punchy output or a crisp single-coil tone for clean, articulate passages. These pickups are not only about stellar sound; they also offer practical benefits. Install them effortlessly as a drop-in replacement for standard humbuckers and enjoy extended playing time with the optional rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Artist usage
Add artist
Mick Thomson of Slipknot signed with ESP, and Fishman Fluence back in 2023, and as of recent has been seen sporting signature Fluence pickups.
To quote Thomson, "My pickups were tuned in a studio, and then tested on the road, and then tuned a little bit more. The end result being both musical and face melting. Extra attention was given to the low mids to keep it big, but tight. Voiced to cut through a mix, but never be shrill. Just could not be happier with how they turned out."
