The S-Series offers a flexible operating system and strong modulation features, though some users may find the digital filters less vibrant. While not without drawbacks, like a steep learning curve and aging components, the S2/S3 remains a compelling choice for synth enthusiasts seeking expressive, non-mainstream sounds at a reasonable price on the second-hand market.

Like the GEM S3, but with 5-octaves keyboard. Polyphonic aftertouch and Turbo-mod as well.
