Amazing for anything
It's really versatile, it has a very agressive and heavy sound but also can be played for softer genres, and I really enjoy the feel as well, mine has been played like hell and it still kicks. It can get that Musicman Stingray sound and also a P-Bass sound and really much more than just that by playing in different positions, it's really enjoyable.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Bass boosted a bit and middle pickup position, playing on top of the pickup with fingers (or slapping) for a musicman tone
Flat EQ and neck position for agressive p-bass sound with a pick played in the middle
Flat EQ and neck position played close to the neck with fingers for softer sounds
Bass boosted a tad bit and mids cut off with middle pickup position for better slap tone.

Very good
I am not a bass player, but I give this instrument a 5 stars because of the price and it's a Japan made instrument.

Cool
This bass is aggressive and mean and affordable. Active pickup has a ton of power. I bought this because of how cool the bridge is and it definitely hasn't disappointed.
2012
The ATK Series are the same series that Greg K. of the Offspring uses. Not saying this for any specific reason, just letting you know.
