Description

The RG350DX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998.

The RG350DX features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include pickguard-mounted Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.

The RG350DX essentially replaced the RG450DX which was similar but had Infinity pickups.

No RG350DX guitars were produced in 2002. In 2003, it returned with black pickups and the Edge Pro II tremolo. In 2005, when production of the RG350DX moved from Korea to Indonesia, the Edge Pro II was replaced with the Edge III, and the Powersound pickups were replaced with Infinity pickups.

A black version of the RG350DX was listed in 1998. It featured a aluminum-like pickguard instead of a white pearloid one. A black version returned in 2005 as the RG350EX. The RG350GX is a similar model with gold hardware and dot fretboard position markers. The RG350SP1 is a similar 2006 spot model offered in two different finishes.

In 2011, the RG350DXZ was introduced as a replacement for the RG350DX, featuring the new Edge Zero II tremolo. In the USA however, it is often referred to as the RG350DX, because the Z-suffix is ignored for many models in promotional material in that market.

Versatile with an 80s look

Nice guitar with a great price. You can pick up an RG for like $500 and have a much higher quality guitar than $500 would typically buy.

Awesome instrument

Awesome look. Awesome playability. This guitar would be perfect with better quality pickups.

nogai0702

It's a great guitar.

The guitar is amazing, but the only flaw is that the guitar needs better pickups.
