The Ibanez RG3EX1 stands out as a top contender in its price range, praised for its versatility across musical styles—from blues to metal. Players commend its sound quality, noting it excels with distortion, making it perfect for heavier genres. While the guitar competes well against high-end models, some might opt for alternatives if lost or stolen. Overall, it's an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable, affordable instrument with a superb tonal range.

Great guitar.

I found this guitar in a music shop in my city. I did a little research (credit tohttp://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/RG3EX1) and found out this guitar was sold exclusively through Guitar Center and discontinued after 3 years. Its just the Ibanez RG3EXFM1 with a quilted maple finish instead of the flame maple finish. It has EMG Designed pickups, 3-piece Wizard II neck, basswood body, and 24 jumbo frets with sharktooth inlays. I use this guitar as a kind of low tuning baritone type guitar and its great.
