VBT700 V-Blade Review: I will continue to collect and play em as long as... | Ibanez | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Ibanez VBT700 V-Blade garners mixed reactions in this review. While its tonal versatility and superior clean sounds are praised, issues like inconsistent binding quality and the inconvenience of finding a suitable case due to discontinued production are highlighted. Players appreciate the guitar's durability and performance, particularly its action for metal genres, but are critical of minor construction flaws. Overall, it's seen as a solid guitar for its price, yet lacks the finesse in detail expected from Ibanez, leaving the sentiment neutral.

Ibanez VBT700 Review

guitarmasterclass.net

The Ibanez VBT700 is a powerhouse for metal enthusiasts, boasting impressive DiMarzio pickups that deliver a monstrous tone ideal for heavy genres. Its V-shaped mahogany body and Wizard II neck ensure a comfortable and smooth playing experience, particularly favored by fans of Flying V guitars. However, versatility takes a hit as it struggles to capture classic rock and blues tones. Despite this, it sets new standards for affordability and quality in metal guitars, making it a stellar choice for those seeking serious riffing capabilities.

VBT700 V-Blade Review: That's why I don't regret buying this guitar. | Ibanez | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Ibanez VBT700 V-Blade is a head-turner with its sharp design and powerful performance. Ideal for lead guitarists, it excels in rock and metal genres, boasting phenomenal sustain and impressive high and mid-range clarity. Despite its lack of low-end depth due to its lighter build, it remains versatile across various styles. The guitar's durability and excellent action make it a reliable choice for live performances. However, its flashy design may not appeal to traditionalists, and rhythm players might need a beefier amp to compensate for the low-end. Overall, this rare gem is a must-have for those who can find it.

Limited & Rare

The limited Ibanez VBT-700 V plays like a dream. The quality of the exotic craftsmanship is immaculate. The pickups were replaced with his signature Diamond DiMarzio Titanium Pickups, they are not built or wired like any conventional pickup on the market today. They have several times the high output of the highest typical pickup, and as a result these innovative pickups are crystal clear, dead silent, & built for effortless rhythm work & shredding at any volume for any metal genre. Other than the characteristics that were described and shown by example; their rarity has been confirmed and nothing else is currently known.
