Thin, lightweight, fast action

I love thin guitars. Not only does this guitar has a thin body, the neck is super-thin allowing for some fast action and neck-action vibrato. The cat-eye/shark-fin hole is very Rickenbacker, the DeArmond pickups however give a Gretsch-like sound. The individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup make it very easy to get the desired tone. Visually I love the teal finish and the mother pearl inlays give it a truly eye-popping appeal and make it super easy to visually move up and down the neck.

This Rig Rundown mentions that Rubin Pollock also uses a Kustom K200C (mistakenly referred to in the article as a Kustom K200). He purchased it from a guitar shop in New York City without even trying it, and mentions that it sounds darker than his Gibson ES-345 (his main live guitar) so he uses a wah pedal to brighten the sound. He also notes that he hasn't ever changed its strings, a trend which appears on the vast majority of his live guitars.
