All in one
I remember I went to the guitar store and I was really interested in a Martin Guitar. I picked this guitar up and I was amazed at how much sound and resonance it produced considering it wasn't a dreadnought. This guitar is truly a great bang for the buck and is a great affordable guitar. I really loved the non-gloss look of the guitar. It gave a very pure wood vibe to it and you could feel the resonance of the guitar when you give it a power strum. The spruce top was just beautiful to look at and the mohagany back just gives it a very deep and pleasant sound which is what I was looking for. It is a beloved guitar of mine which I will keep for many more years to come

Excellent for the Money
I bought mine used for a pretty low price. These can be routinely found on the aftermarket for $500 or less. For what this guitar is intended to be- a friendly introduction to the Martin tradition- it exceeds all expectations. Though one doesn't hear the nuanced harmonics found in upper-end Martin guitars, this guitar's warm tone mimics the rich mellowness of other expensive guitars without the hefty price tag. It's made in Mexico but not at the expense of build and quality. Best of all, the guitar stays in tune.

Little Guitar with a Big Punch
For its size, this 000 size guitar packs a punch. It has the traditional "twang" you should expect and love from a Martin for a very affordable price. From the get-go, the level of clarity and balance from this guitar is astounding. I use it for anything from fingerpicking to heavy downbeat strumming and it holds up extremely well!
Best acoustic under $1000
This guitar has served as my main guitar for almost a year now and has not failed me yet. The pickup has a very clear and rich sound, and the controls inside the sound hole are very accessible while playing in a live setting. For $500-$600 you can not go wrong.

Delicious to play!
Very versatile. I have an Epiphone EJ200 for a while and I play a lot of Oasis/Noel Gallagher songs with it. But it's a strumming guitar. 000-X1AE allows me to play other stiles, like John Mayer, even Ed Sheeran (that plays a Little Martin) and many other styles.
Artist usage
Add artist
In this live acoustic video, Fender is using a Martin 000-X1AE. The guitar was also mentioned in the 2021 Premier Guitar interview.
From his interview with Country Standard Time: "Moreland, a Texas native, who grew up in Kentucky, has been playing a Martin 000 X-Series as a road guitar for several years, and it figures prominently in his videos available on YouTube. 'I loved that guitar, it stood up to the road really well. I bought it because my dad had a '51 Martin 0018 that I learned to play, on and I still play it on record, but I don't want to bring it on the road. It is special to me. Martin necks just feel right to me. Actually, I just retired the Martin 000 and replaced it with a D28.' " (http://www.countrystandardtime.com/d/article.asp?xid=1188)
