Absolutely real guitar tone
Not much I dislike except the weight! Guitar is full, very loud, and rich in harmonics and just real-sounding tone through this amp. And it's built like a tank - it has suffered many falls, bonks, dings, knocks and all without ever having a problem. I'm sure I sound ridiculous raving about it, but it's truly an incredible amplifier.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
NOS tubes have made mine sing - they're not for everyone, and not totally necessary. But I love mine with the ones I got - I'm lucky to have a trusted source in my town. I prefer to run the amp clean, not engaging the Master volume knob and about 10 or 11 o'clock for most club gigs. I like the breakup but the clean tone is kind of like the holy grail of guitar tone to me.
