Built by Capitol mastering engineer Ian Sefchick out of Burbank, California, who built 4 custom compressors for the mastering department of Capitol Studios and many custom pieces of gear for the the house engineers and guest engineers such as Niko Bolas, Chad Franscoviak, Jon Brion, Greg Koller, and Al Schmitt. As a result to the overwhelmingly positive response, Magic Death Eye was born.
