Plexi sound for £21/$27

It's a cheap Chinese made pedal but you get so much more than you'd expect at this low price range. The first time I used one I was met with wow this is pretty good. It's a really pleasant smooth overdrive distortion sound that gets you riffing away and suddenly playing for hours.

With volume at 11 o'clock and gain at 10 o'clock you get a nice thick crunchy distortion, adjust the tone to taste. The volume gets really loud once at noon and above. The gain increases much more nicely passed noon and beyond although not much apparent difference 3 o'clock onwards.

If you're on a tight budget and want the Marshall Plexi, AC-DC, 70's rock sound this is perfect. A Friedman BEOD or Wampler Plexi is going to cost you ten times as much as the Mosky, do they sound ten times better?

With this being a small pedal it doesn't take up lots of space, there's no internal battery so you need 9v power. My pedal wasn't particularly noisy or hissy, it's well-built although the knobs aren't heavy duty so don't be heavy handed.
