Orangewood Morgan Spruce Live guitar review (or Are Orangewood Guitars Any Good?) – Art Of Shred Guitar & Gear Reviews

artofshred.com

While the Orangewood Morgan Spruce Live boasts an attractive look and decent sound, it suffers from significant quality control issues, particularly fret buzz that undermines playability. Priced at $250, the guitar offers good value if you receive a well-set-up model, but this reviewer’s experience with a poorly set-up version led to a return. Customer service and return processes are commendable, yet the promise of a ready-to-play instrument falls flat. If you’re a beginner willing to gamble on setup quality, it might be worth a shot; otherwise, exploring alternatives from brands like Epiphone or Fender could save you frustration.

Awesome Overall Guitar

This guitar has been an absolute pleasure to play, both when plugged in or just by itself it has such a bright tone to it. The quality of the build is solid and to me is impressive for the price range (it exceeded my expectations). Would definitely buy from Orangewood again, and their production and quality control is excellent!

Perfect for gigging!

I've used this on my new recordings and for live shows, and it still holds up extremely well.
