Description
The Adamas Spalted Maple is an electric/acoustic model that has a lyrachord body with curly maple binding. The top is graphite with carbon fiber construction, and features the spalted maple epaulettes, from which the guitar gets its name. This model also features a slotted headstock and a short-scale figured maple neck which connects to the body at the twelfth fret. On the neck sits a “wider-than-normal” ebony fingerboard with diamond and dot inlays. In terms of hardware, the guitar sports a pin-less Ovation Keyhole Bridge, which is said to provide added sustain and clarity by anchoring the strings to a graphite plate inside the body. It’s equipped with an active direct quarter-inch output.
