Rockingham Review: My thirst unquenched, I asked the sales assistant for an alternative. | Peavey | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

The Peavey Rockingham strikes a chord with its warm, versatile tone, excelling in jazz and rockabilly genres. Its standout features include a Bigsby tremolo and retro-styled humbuckers, offering a range of sound options. While its hollow body design contributes to occasional feedback issues, the Rockingham's aesthetics and construction quality are impressive for its price. It's not the most durable, so having a backup for live performances is advised. Despite minor build quirks, this guitar is a true gem for those seeking vintage vibes on a budget.

Great at low volumes; easy to play; looks great; Have tried every solution possible to solve excessive feedback issues but no joy. A guitar I really love but no good for loud rehearsal/stage. I've found a combination of playing through Vox AC30 and Mars

Great at low volumes; easy to play; looks great; Have tried every solution possible to solve excessive feedback issues but no joy. A guitar I really love but no good for loud rehearsal/stage. I've found a combination of playing through Vox AC30 and Marshall AD50 simultaneously sounds great but just struggles with loud band.

Had it at the beginning of the band

Cool stuff, for rockab and such. Can be jazzy, lacks a pit of grit and does not quite agree with my style. So I sold it.
