Randall RT50C Combo & RT100H Head review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Randall RT100H head delivers solid performance for hard rock and metal enthusiasts, boasting an affordable price point and good build quality. However, its control panel's color scheme makes it difficult to read, and the inability to footswitch the reverb and effects loop is a notable drawback. While it excels in delivering a thick, creamy distortion, it may not suit players seeking more subtle tones. Overall, it stands as a decent option for modern metal sounds, but competition in this space remains fierce.

Randall RT100H

These are really cool amps that were designed off of the MTS amps. The green channel is MTS Clean, red MTS Treadplate and purple is MTS Ultra. When recording songs I find the purple Ultra channel sounds a lot like a Bogner Uberschall. Because of this I like to use an Uberschall on the left and a RT100H on the right. This creates a wider stereo image than just using one of the amps.
