Description
Introducing the Randall RD100H Diavlo - a powerhouse of an amp head designed for those who crave high-gain, metal-geared tones. This is not just an amp, it's a beast. At the heart of this rugged metallic monster lies three footswitchable channels (Clean, Overdrive 1, and Overdrive 2), allowing you to craft your sound with precision and versatility.
Each channel boasts independent volume and gain controls, while a shared master volume and 4-band EQ provide the perfect tools to shape your sonic output. Need to cut through the mix? The included four-button footswitch features a 'Turbo Boost' to give you that extra edge.
The RD100H Diavlo really comes to life with its high-gain tube overdrive, powered by a potent combination of 12AX7 preamp tubes and 6L6 power tubes. This is where the magic happens. The result is a menacing tone that will have your guitar snarling with a ferocity that the 'devil' (or 'diavlo' in Italian) himself would be proud of.
The amp also sports a speaker-emulated XLR output for direct recording or PA mixing, and a Class-A discrete FX loop. The Randall RD100H Diavlo is not just an amp head; it's a statement of intent. Plug in, crank it up, and let the Diavlo do the rest.

Great for low end gain.
I purchased this amp because a friend of mine said it would be great for clarity in the low end gain for my 8 string guitar and he was correct. This is one of the best amps for 8 or 9 string guitars in my opinion. The boost is a great feature and it has a very nice overall look with the lighting inside it.
