Sonic Academy ANA

soundonsound.com

Sonic Academy's ANA Software Synth surprises with its powerful sound and rich programming capabilities at a budget-friendly price. It's a versatile tool for electronic music producers, offering over 50 oscillator waveform types, extensive modulation options, and a robust effects section. While its CPU usage can be demanding and the randomize function lacks precision, ANA's sound quality and features make these flaws forgivable. The synth's strength in genres like House and Dubstep, combined with its user-friendly design and helpful tutorials, make it a standout option in a crowded market. For those seeking affordable quality, ANA is a compelling choice.

Sonic Academy ANA review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

Sonic Academy's ANA software synth impresses with its big, bold sound powered by a PCM-based engine, making it an appealing choice for modern music production. It offers a variety of oscillator types and a unique graphical envelope, allowing for creative sound design. However, it lacks pulse width modulation and compatibility with energyXT2, which might deter some users. Despite these drawbacks, its affordability and versatility make ANA a strong contender in the virtual synth market.
