Description
Unleash a world of vocal creativity with the Sonic Charge Bitspeek, a revolutionary plugin that brings real-time pitch-excited linear prediction to your fingertips. This isn't just another vocal processing tool—it's a gateway to sounds that are both nostalgic and futuristic. Inspired by the voice compression technology of the seventies, Bitspeek harnesses the power of linear prediction, a technique hidden within the tech we use every day, from cell phones to vintage talking toys.
With Bitspeek, you can transform any audio input by extracting pitch, volume, and formant data, and then resynthesizing it using its unique oscillator, noise, and filter architecture. Whether you're after the charm of retro speaking toys or the sophisticated sheen of modern vocoder effects, Bitspeek bridges the gap effortlessly. Despite its minimalistic interface, the plugin is equipped with versatile playback parameters, allowing you to tailor the pitch and tonal quality to suit your needs. Plus, its MIDI capability and beat-synchronized "formant freezing effect" offer unprecedented control over your vocal manipulations.
Designed for both Windows and macOS, Bitspeek integrates seamlessly with your existing setup, supporting a range of host applications through VST 2.4 and AudioUnit 2 formats. Whether you're a producer, sound designer, or artist, Bitspeek is your ticket to creating vocals that captivate and inspire.

crazy sonic fun
depending on what kind of sound you apply this too the results can be beautiful or unlistenable . however that is more a criticism of my noises than the app . It is uber fun . Russell :)

Retro vocals!
Pretty cool for when you need a retro-sounding vocoder effect. Cool for all sorts of styles and sees a lot of popular use in Dubstep :).

From Andrew's blog post about special pug ins, where he illustrates the tools he uses for specific tasks in production. "There are a lot of vocoders out there, but this one has a beautiful tone and unmistakable crunchy edge, like if Stevie Wonder was a Speak & Spell. You can hear it on the bridge of my song "Desolation" (and you can compare it with the other very normal vocoder that also punctuates that song)."
