"This Week in Pedalboards: Spaceman Effects "Spacerocket Fuzz." Zak gave me this pedal years ago in Portland, when i barely knew what boutique fuzz was. I learned really quickly after i got this pedal. Ive never heard anything quite like it before or since then. It squares off in a very musical way, and adds an extremely pronounced upper octave harmonic. Not for the faint of heart. Apparently there’s only so many components left, so the supplies of this are extremely limited. This pedal has been used on every Baroness album starting with “BLUE” and i tour with it regularly. I had to get a second one, just in case this ever gets destroyed (I’m rough on gear). You want an incredible, saturated harmonic solo tone… here it is."
