Rare and wonderful alternative in the 335 style market!

Rare and wonderful alternative to the Epiphone Dot/335 models. These guitars were only made for about a year and a half and were originally intended as a celebration of Fender acquiring the Guild guitar company. The Squier Starfire is built on the same designs as the Guild Starfire model. It uses a 24.75" scale (hence the Series 24 title), and Duncan Designed humbuckers. These guitars are now very well regarded by those whom have played them, but initially suffered poor sales due to high MSRP (near $1000 for a Squier) and trepidation to give a company known for entry level solidbody guitars a chance in the hollow/semi-hollow body market. I love my Starfire and will never part with it.
