Plays great, a few flaws but none of them are quality related

I received this as a gift and I fell in love with it right away. It's been a few months since then and now that I've gotten used to how it plays, I can safely say without bias that I recommend it. The only problems are as follows: the inside of the F-hole and the hollow section seems rather roughly done, like it hasn't been touched since before the paint process. Doesn't affect playing but a bit of sandpaper around the F-hole wouldn't hurt. Also, the neck is a little under the desired width, and that can be a bit of a problem with the thin E string, it just feels like there's not enough wood under it and it can really affect bending. Honestly, I've had little problem with it, otherwise. Solid recommendation from me!

Squier by Fender Vintage Modified '72 Thinline Telecaster Electric Guitar - Natural - Maple Fingerboard Review

I like this instrument very much. You really receive your moneys worth. The fret board feels great and the guitar sounds great through just about anything. I came away from this purchase feeling like I capitalized on a good deal but didn't get a beginner guitar.

Execellent guitar!

It gives you the twang, but can rock out too. I run it with 10-46 Daddario NYXL Strings and the action is set fairly high for this type of guitar. Feedback is sometimes an issue but the added warmth and resonance is nice to have on hand.

Loved this tele, but hated the pickups

Overall, great telecaster, but the fender All Range pickups are crap.
