Sound designers will appreciate its deep modulation capabilities, while the modulation matrix and effects sections stand out as highlights. Sugar Bytes Factory delivers a powerful semi-modular synthesis experience that is both versatile and user-friendly. With its flexible modulation matrix, diverse oscillator engines, and robust sequencer, it opens a world of creative possibilities for sound designers. The interface is clean and intuitive, making complex sound design accessible even to those new to modular synthesis. While some may find its digital-leaning sound less appealing than analog, the synth's extensive sound-shaping capabilities and morphing feature make it a standout tool for electronic music production.

Not for gardeners.

its a great synth that really rewards curiosity and specializes in sounds you'd expect to hear from eurorack modules.......the kinda sounds currently favoured by depeche mode, nine inch nails, Gary numan etc.... You'll get the most bizarre, twisted sounds with a minimum of effort. Real biting, snarling, grungy industrial basses and searing leads. Even if you collect vsts and think you already have a synth that does what Factory does, you don't. It genuinely has a very unique sound and a unique approach. Not an edm synth, and not for making soundtracks to "gardener's world" unless the host of the programme is Trent Reznor and the plants are triffids and venus flytraps
