Description
The Taylor 914ce Grand Auditorium Cutaway stands as a testament to both exquisite craftsmanship and innovative acoustic engineering. Designed for the discerning guitarist, this acoustic-electric marvel showcases a harmonious blend of traditional artistry and modern technology. At its core, the V-Class bracing revolutionizes your acoustic experience by enhancing volume, sustain, and intonation. This bracing ensures each note resonates with clarity and extended sustain, providing a pure and powerful sound that is both inspiring and consistent across the fretboard.
The combination of solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top results in a rich tonal palette. Expect deep bass, shimmering highs, and complex overtones that respond well to various playing styles, from delicate fingerpicking to robust strumming. The ES2 pickup system further elevates your performance by capturing the guitar's full dynamic range with its trio of custom-calibrated sensors. This system ensures that every nuance of your playing is faithfully reproduced when plugged in, providing a seamless transition from acoustic to amplified sound.
Aesthetically, the 914ce is adorned with luxurious appointments, including a stunning abalone rosette and ebony binding with koa purfling. The comfort of a Venetian cutaway and a radius armrest enhances playability, allowing for effortless access to higher frets. Whether on stage or in the studio, the Taylor 914ce is your perfect partner in creating captivating musical stories.

2000 Natural Engleman Top with Cindy Inlay
This has been my main guitar for years. Bought it new and have played the hell out of it. I actually have a 2001, also with the "rise" inlay they replaced the Cindy with. Both have developed "Willie Nelson" type wear under the high e string. I am about to have to send at least one in to Taylor to have them address the wear I've put on them. Best production model acoustic guitar ever made, IMO.
