Description

Reviving the timeless charm of the '60s, the Vox AC4TVH guitar amplifier head is a modern twist on a classic design that promises to deliver rich, iconic tones at any volume. This all-tube Class A amp head is a nod to the original AC4, featuring the distinctive EL84 power tube paired with a 12AX7-powered preamp, ensuring you get that unmistakably British top-end tone. Perfect for practice sessions and recording, the AC4TVH is equipped with a built-in power attenuator, allowing you to switch between 4-watt, 1-watt, and 1/4-watt output levels. This feature ensures that you can achieve those sought-after tube tones without overwhelming volume, making it ideal for late-night jam sessions or intimate studio work.

Aesthetically, the Vox AC4TVH boasts a nostalgic TV-front design reminiscent of the 1958 AC15, complemented by Vox's signature diamond grillecloth. The simplicity and elegance of its design are matched by its performance, making it a great addition to any guitarist's arsenal. Little gem

Downgraded from an AC30 to this guy as I live in an apartment. Combined with the Vox V112TV speaker cabinet you hardly notice a difference in tone. It is very versatile being able to change the wattage from 4 watts, to 1 watt and all the way to 1/4 watt.

Nice practice amp

I use this head with a Vox V112NT cabinet (I think that it sounds considerably better than the TV one). It is more than enough for home use (it could even result loud at its lower wattage setting) and happens to have a very bright sound. This upper range of tones is something that I really missed with other heads such as the Terror series from Orange (which I used with the exact same cabinet and speaker cable).
