Great modern Vox amplifier

I like this amplifier, it sounds better than old Vix amplifier but still has the Vox sounds.

Only bad thing is that it don't have a send /return on the back, but newer version have it.

Uh yes

I have had this amp head for over 10 years and it still kicks butt. I use it with an old fender bassman 2 x 12 cab. 15 watts is very loud and plenty to play with a band, great sound for the studio as well.

Great versatile amp!

What a great sounding versatile amp! Modeled after a Trainwreck, gets a hot rodded Marshall tone in a small watt and small sized package! Can also get the vox chime, and thick bluesy tone, very versatile, with plenty of gain on tap also. Haven't used the bypass tonestack channel much, but it cooks!

Brilliant

If you're looking for that classic Vox tone in a neighbour (and wallet) friendly sized package, look no further.

Featuring twin EL84 tubes and two 12AX7 pre tubes, 3 band EQ, 7.5/15 Watt switch, clean and hi gain settings (labelled Thick/Bright), 8 and 16 Ohm outputs and a classy exterior all come together to create a pretty amazing little package.

I mainly use it for the crystal cleans, but the 'Thick' channel option is no slouch at creating old school metal tones, and it's often my 'go to' head when I want to create some buzzing, high gain black metal riffage without having to resort to tone sucking pedals.

One of the few bits of gear I don't ever see myself selling.

Just missing a FX loop input

It sounds so warm and natural, but I miss a loop input and another channel too.

"I was running it through several different amps. I ran it through a Marshall 25th Anniversary, a Marshall 30th Anniversary, a Lab Series L5, a Vox Nighttrain, a couple of smaller amps like an old ART Rules Breaker."

To be honest, I haven’t had it long enough to really get into it, but here’s the basic premise: Set up your favorite amp and get the desired sound. Mic up the amp run the cord into the back of the Kemper. Hit “Profile,” and it saves a pretty realistic emulation of that amp’s tone. I started doing it, but I didn’t have enough time. I’ve got a Vox Night Train that sounds fantastic, so I did that and some of the PRS heads.
