Critic Reviews

Yamaha Pacifica PAC112V guitar review (“I like it EXCEPT …”) – Art Of Shred Guitar & Gear Reviews

artofshred.com

The Yamaha Pacifica PAC112V is a solid entry-level guitar with standout value and quality control. Its humbucker delivers good sound, while the coil split adds versatility—though not everyone will love it. The guitar arrives nearly ready to play, a rarity at this price point. However, the single-coil pickups lack power, and the plastic nut and cheap tuners could use upgrades. Overall, it offers a great starting point for beginners willing to make a few tweaks.

Great guitar, especially for the price!

Yamaha is known for their consistency and quality, across products and disciplines. I had a Yamaha acoustic that stayed in my life for several years, and knew I wanted to look at Yamaha when looking for a budget strat-style guitar. The Pacifica delivers just about everything you'd want in this price range, and (in my opinion) beats out the Squier, Epiphone, and the majority of other brands in this price range for this style of guitar.

Yamaha Pacifica

I love this guitar, because it does everything you'd want it to do for small amount of money. It has great sound, great durability and the proven Yamaha name. For the style I play, and for all styles, this guitar delivers. My favourite thing about it is the range of sounds you can get from it. For the price, the best guitar at the mo. If you are a beginner or need a cheap, solid guitar, buy this, you will not be disappointed
