Strymon is an American music electronics company based in Westlake Village, California, founded by Pete Celi, Gregg Stock, and Dave Fruehling — three engineers who previously worked together at Line 6 and Alesis. The company began as Damage Control Engineering in 2004, releasing tube-driven effects pedals under that name, before relaunching under the Strymon brand in 2009 with the OB.1 compressor pedal. All Strymon products are designed and built in Southern California.
