Description

Accurate octaves.

The Bigfoot Engineering guitar octave pedal is inspired by the innovative sounds of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age). It is completely passive, not requiring batteries or a power supply. It must be plugged in after any buffered effects pedal to operate, allowing you to create octave sounds ranging from clean as a whistle, to downright dirty. The Octo Puss! Reeow!

The Octo Puss has the widest frequency response of any octave pedal on the market, with the perfect balance of crystal clear highs, to thumping lows. As a result, it has far superior note clarity, definition, and tracking. It will even process chords with astounding accuracy.

Bigfoot Engineering Octo Puss review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Bigfoot Octo Puss pedal charms with its vintage octave character and passive design, making it a unique addition to any pedalboard. It excels when paired with distortion, delivering rich, harmonic-infused tones reminiscent of classic octave fuzz sounds. However, its passive nature requires strategic placement after a buffered pedal in your effects chain, which can be limiting. Despite this, the Octo Puss offers great build quality at a reasonable price, making it a solid choice for those seeking that nostalgic octave sound inspired by Josh Homme.
